Enroll Your Child

enrollment resumes april 20,                                email or fax registration is encouraged

VUSD schools are currently only providing Distance Learning for the remainder of the school year due to preventive measures around the coronavirus.  School offices will remain open under limited hours of operation to create minimal exposure at our sites.  As a result, new enrollment will be starting April 20.  We ask that you please access the documents needed for enrollment by visiting the FORMS link listed on the left of this page.  Once the required enrollment documentation is completed, we ask that you please email/fax enrollment paperwork whenever possible to the appropriate contact at your school of residence.  Enrollment information with office/phone hours, the email address or fax number to submit your documents can be found HERE.   Once registration is submitted to your school of residence an office staff member will be in contact with you.  Additional forms may be needed by the school site.

The enrollment/transfer period begins March 3, 2020 for Alamo, Browns Valley, Cooper, Edwin Markham, Eugene Padan, Hemlock, Jean Callison, Orchard, Willis Jepson, Vaca Pena, Vacaville High and Will C Wood High.

For enrollment dates for Sierra Vista K-8, Buckingham Charter Magnet High School, Fairmont Charter, ACE and SPICE, please see Special Enrollment page.

Student Registration

VUSD enrollment/registration takes place at your school of residency according to your physical home address.  Please use the school site locator feature to determine your resident school or call (707) 453-6100 during business hours for questions about attendance areas. View School Site office hours here.

InterDistrict vs. IntraDistrict

InterDistrict- If you do not live within Vacaville Unified (VUSD) boundaries, follow the InterDistrict Transfer process

IntraDistrict- If you live within Vacaville Unified (VUSD) boundaries, and would like to transfer to another VUSD school, follow the IntraDistrict Transfer process.

Some Vacaville schools are at enrollment capacity.  Although the neighborhood school will be taking your registration and enrollment information, it is important that parents and students are aware that there may not be space for new students at their neighborhood school this fall.  If school enrollment does exceed our capacity, you will be notified and the neighborhood school will make arrangements to enroll your student at another site.
