Career & Technical Education

Career Technical Education (CTE) courses offer students exposure to a wide range of career fields. Students who take CTE courses typically have more experience and are more likely to be hired than students who don’t.

The following are career pathways and courses available to students at Buckingham Magnet Charter High School, Vacaville High School, Country High School and Will C. Wood High School.

Exposing Students to a Wide Variety of Career Options

VUSD believes in exposing students to a wide range of professional fields and careers. This helps students understand possibilities after high school as well as experience what a career path might be like.

Project Inspire is a partnership between VUSD, the Solano County Office of Education, the City of Vacaville and the Vacaville Chamber of Commerce. Project Inspire gives students in 8th and 10th grade hands-on exposure to over 40 different career fields.
