    Chromebook Information

Vacaville Unified School District has sold all of the used Chromebooks that were available for family purchase.

Students who need a Chromebook for Virtual Learning will be issued devices from their school.

There is no shortage of Chromebooks for issuance to our students.

Chromebooks issued from schools will be treated exactly like a textbook.  There is no charge to families when the undamaged device is returned to the school site.

Thank you for being a Vacaville Unified School District Parent.  We appreciate your efforts on your child’s behalf!

State of California releases pandemic plan for schools

On Friday, July 17th, Governor Newsom released the state of California's Pandemic Plan for Learning and Safe Schools. The Governor's plan centers on five key areas:

    1) Safe in-person school based on local health data

    2) Strong mask requirements for anyone in the school

    3) Physical distancing requirements & other adaptations

    4) Regular testing and dedicated contact tracing for outbreaks at schools

    5) Rigorous distance learning

Governor Newsome's plan states "Schools located in counties that are on the Monitoring List must not physically open for in-person instruction until their county has come off the Monitoring List for 14 consecutive days."  Solano County is currently on the state's COVID-19 Monitoring List.
